Welcome to St Attracta’s Community School Website. The purpose of this site is to give future students, parents and the wider public an accurate account of what we have to offer in our school. We seek to develop the academic, cultural, sporting, moral and spiritual aspect of all our students. Students with special needs are particularly welcome to our school. One of our highlights since we opened in 2002 was a very successful Whole School Evaluation carried out in September 2005.

A wide range of subjects is taught, 20 at junior cycle and 24 at senior cycle and a balance is maintained between technological, artistic, scientific and academic education.

We realise that the choice of second level school for your son or daughter can have far reaching implications. The quality of student’s second level education contributes greatly to his/her personal, social and economic well-being. This should involve a shared decision between the student and parents or guardians.
